Hey guys!!
So I've spent the last couple of days working on Teddymare's newest biggest, baddest, most boss-est enemy...The BOOGIEMAN!!!
So tonight I'm just going to do a breakdown of my progress so far working on the big guy's body.

I used a combination of dynamesh, zspheres, and an amazing insert mesh brush of a rib cage to make the basic form of the body. I used zspheres to make his arms, hands, and fingers and then attached them to the main chest form. So the first thing I did, after getting everything attached, was smooth his hands out to make them less bulky.

The next thing I did was start working on getting the basic forms of his neck and shoulders figured out. I pulled out his neck and smoothed it to make the form less blocky and square. One of the main issues with Zbrush is that because it is a 2.5d viewport and not actually 3-D you only sculpt on parts of the model that are visible to the camera meaning that even if you make a lot of progress on the front, profile and 3/4 view are not becoming as developed

Afterwards, I spent some time developing the clavicle back and shoulder muscles. I ended up masking out all of the visible bones on the back and visible rib cage so that I could keep those forms intact while working on the sculpting.

Lastly, I moved on to working on developing his arm muscles. I also worked on his hands a little bit but I get as far as I would have wanted. Again, I'm just trying to establish basic forms before retopologizing and then detail work. Thanks for reading!!
